GoHomeyy
A thoughtfully designed food-tech experience that brings together home-cooked meals, independent home chefs, meal plans, pantry essentials, and social dining in one connected platform. The goal was to create a warm, premium digital experience that feels more personal than a traditional food-delivery app.
GoHomeyy is built around the idea of real food, real people, and community — connecting customers with local home chefs while making everyday meals, subscriptions, and social gatherings easier to discover and manage.
The Challenge
The challenge was to design a scalable product experience that could support multiple interconnected services without overwhelming the user. The platform needed to make it easy to discover meals and chefs, subscribe to plans, place orders, manage deliveries, and participate in social dining experiences, while maintaining a consistent and premium visual identity.
The Approach
I focused on creating a clear information architecture and a connected user journey across the customer and chef experiences. The design system uses a warm, editorial visual language with expressive typography, soft shapes, subtle gradients, and carefully structured content hierarchy.
Key experiences included:
Home & Discovery — personalized meal discovery, featured chefs, nearby specials, and curated recommendations.
Daily — individual home-cooked meals available for everyday ordering.
Fuel — chef-created meal plans that customers can explore and subscribe to.
Social Tables — social dining experiences designed around gatherings and community.
Chef Profiles & Storefronts — dedicated spaces for customers to discover chefs, their menus, plans, and offerings.
Cart & Checkout — a streamlined purchasing flow from meal selection through payment and order confirmation.
Orders & Tracking — clear order management and delivery-status experiences.
Customer Profile — centralized access to personal details, preferences, orders, notifications, wallet, and other account features.
Chef Dashboard — tools for chefs to manage meals, orders, Fuel Plans, social experiences, pantry items, wallet activity, and their public profile.
Visual Direction
Rather than following the typical visual language of mainstream food-delivery platforms, the interface was designed to feel warm, premium, human, and editorial.
The visual system combines warm orange tones with soft neutral backgrounds, rounded components, subtle depth, expressive cards, and custom iconography. The result is an approachable interface that communicates the homemade and community-driven nature of GoHomeyy while still feeling like a polished digital product.
Outcome
The result is a scalable product ecosystem designed to connect customers, home chefs, meals, subscriptions, and social experiences through one cohesive experience.
The project demonstrates my approach to product thinking, UX architecture, UI design, design systems, and complex multi-role digital experiences, while keeping the interface visually engaging and easy to navigate.
